Care For Your Product

Caring for your Oiled Furniture

Your oiled furniture will  last a lifetime if properly cared for and protected.

We recommend this type of furniture for use indoors but it can be used outdoors also.

We use Tung Oil on our oiled products, available at most hardware and DIY stockists.

Keep the furniture clean and avoid using hard chemicals to clean as this will change the colour of the wood.

To clean spills use a clean cloth immediately and warm soapy water and buff dry.

Your furniture requires regular oiling to maintain its lustre and fine finish  - we suggest you monitor this at least every 12 weeks.

First, ensure that your product is clean, dry and free of dirt. We recommend this in competed in a dust free environment where possible.

Then using a soft, lint-free cloth apply the oil to the cloth and buff on the furniture until fully covered.

Wipe off any excess oil.

Allow to dry.

Always follow the Tung Oil manufacturer's instructions

We also suggest that during wetter months, you cover your furniture or store it in a dry place.

We recommend you varnish when required with a high-quality marine varnish. Always follow the manufacturers instructions.
