A word from our Director and Master Craftsmen David Moore:
'I’ve always loved working with wood reclaimed wood, especially, it makes you look at it differently. It tells you what it wants to be, not vice versa. That’s what I like about whisky barrels; the curves of the staves mean you have to go with the flow.
Each piece of furniture, or giftware I make, whether a table, a chair, a house sign, a chopping board, or a woodfired hot tub has started life as an oak w.hisky barrel - this is the ultimate in recycling and breathes new life into these barrels creating unique heirloom pieces.'

Each peice is unique dictated by the character of the oak barrel that it’s made from. Whether that be darker wood from heavier charring or nuanced undulation of each stave created from the original coopering techniques used - we take apart each barrel and work with that nuanced character and design and craft around it. This means that your final peice will be unique to you.
